Snekfun is a fair-launch token launchpad on Cardano. Anyone can create and trade tokens instantly, with no coding required and no pre-mines or insider allocations. Tokens launch on a bonding curve and migrate to Splash DEX when they reach a 69,000 ADA market cap.

Trading

The most common reasons are:
  • Slippage exceeded — the price moved more than your slippage tolerance before the transaction confirmed. Try increasing your slippage setting slightly.
  • Insufficient ADA — make sure you have enough ADA for both the trade and the network transaction fee.
  • Network congestion — Cardano is occasionally congested. Wait a few minutes and try again.
Cardano transactions typically confirm within 20–60 seconds. If your balance hasn’t updated after a couple of minutes, refresh the page. If the issue persists, check your transaction on CardanoScan using your wallet address.
Slippage is the difference between the expected price and the actual price at the time your transaction confirms. On a bonding curve, other trades can happen between when you submit and when your transaction confirms, changing the price slightly. Your slippage setting defines the maximum price movement you’ll accept.
Yes. Token prices on the bonding curve move based on buys and sells. Tokens can go up or down in value. Trading tokens is inherently risky — only trade amounts you’re comfortable losing.

Token launches

Tokens graduate automatically when their market cap hits 69,000 ADA. If your token hasn’t reached that level, it hasn’t graduated yet. There’s no time limit — tokens can stay on the bonding curve indefinitely until they either graduate or are abandoned.
No. Name and ticker are set at launch and cannot be changed. You can update your description, image, and social links at any time. How to update your token →
Creator fees continue after graduation. Any trade on your token on Splash DEX still generates a creator fee, claimable from your creator dashboard.
No. The fair launch mechanism means you receive no pre-mined tokens. You buy from the same bonding curve as everyone else. After graduation, LP tokens are burned — meaning no one, including you, can remove liquidity.

Turbo Wallet

The Turbo Wallet is suitable for trading with smaller amounts. Your private key is encrypted and stored locally in your browser — Snekfun never has custody of your funds. For larger amounts, we recommend a hardware wallet or a self-custody wallet like Eternl.

Points

Points track your overall activity on Snekfun — trading, daily claims, token launches, and referrals. The future utility of points will be announced separately.
Points update in real time but may take a few seconds after a transaction confirms. If your points haven’t updated after a few minutes, try refreshing the page. If you believe there’s an error, contact support.
No. Points don’t expire.
