# Referrals

> Earn points by inviting others to Snekfun

# Referrals

Referring new users to Snek.fun earns you a percentage of the points they generate from trading — without any deduction from their own points. Both you and your referee benefit.

You earn **20%** of the points generated by each referee's orders. For example, if a referee places an order that earns them 50 points, you receive 10 points on top of your own balance.

## How to get your referral link

1. Go to your **Profile → Referrals**
2. Type a name in the **your referral link** field — this becomes your unique invite identifier
3. Click **Save**
4. Copy and share it with friends, on social media, or in your community

  Choose your name carefully — it can only be set once and cannot be changed after saving.

## How referral points work

When someone signs up or connects their wallet using your referral link, they become your referee. You earn a percentage of the points they generate from every order they place — based on their order count and order volume.

Referral points are credited to your account **every 2 hours**. You'll see a notification in the app confirming when points have been added.

  Referral points are additive — your referees earn their full points as normal, and you earn a bonus on top. Nothing is deducted from their balance.

## Tracking your referrals

Your referral stats are visible directly on your referral page:

| --------------- | --------------------------------------------------------- |
| Referrals       | Number of users who joined using your link                |
| Volume / Orders | Total ADA traded and total orders placed by your referees |
| Earned points   | Total referral points credited to your account            |

  Referral statistics update every 2 hours. If you recently referred someone, their activity may not appear immediately.
